Our 2 1/2 Year Old Program
For children who were 2 years old by March 31 of the year when the fall term begins
--Children do not need to be toilet-trained to attend this program--

So little and yet . . .

If you want a program for your older toddler and need a safe and secure place that may also be the “first place away from home and you,” this program is just right for you both!  

Separation and attachment are experiences that happen all through our lives as human beings.  Research and practice confirm that early healthy, strong attachments for young children help them form healthy, strong bonds again and again in life.  Our program supports children and families in forming new attachments to other trusted persons - - to adults and maybe even little friends - - in an environment with play and discovery materials that invite curiosity, capture attention, stimulate learning, and encourage language.

Having just the right people to care for and learn with children of this age is paramount for this program.  Trained, experienced and excited about working with two year olds, a loving and nurturing team of one teacher and two assistants work with this lively group of 12 children.  In addition, an experienced early childhood music and movement specialist, certified in Kindermusik and trained in both Orff and Kodaly music methods, delights these little ones once a week.  A playground designed just for young children is right outside the door. 

Our Current 2007-08 2 1/2 Year old program offers classes on: 

2-day AM, Tuesday and Thursday from 9:00AM – 11:45AM
or
3-day AM, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9:00 AM - 11:45 AM

Next Year, 2008-09, Our 2 1/2 Year old program will offer classes on: 

Tuesday and Thursday from 9:00AM – 11:45AM
